“Before I hired Urban Revival, I thought staging was a gimmicky thing to do. I finally “relented” when my empty FSBO home was stalling and a good friend recommended Annie and Helena. The price was right and I trusted my friend's judgment. Well, I should have done this about 3 months sooner. (Then it would have paid for itself.) Finances are one point, but there’s also the aesthetics.
The Wow! I felt when I first walked into the house after they’d set things up still is fresh in my mind several months later. It wasn't like so many other stagings I’d seen — plain furniture and cliché knick-knacks here and there to fill up empty space. What Annie and Helena did was a Statement, and a very classy one. Classy, but at the same time comfortable, not sterile. The house was completely transformed. People who had seen the Before, and now the After, uniformly commented on how much easier it was for them to picture their own furniture there.
In a way I feel silly I didn't stage sooner, but the reality is that not all staging is classy. Urban Revival brings a whole new ethos and aesthetic to this in my opinion. It’s also worth a lot to me that Annie, Helena and their staff are genuinely kind and fun people. Selling a house can be a hassle, but meeting people like them brought pleasure to the experience.”
