How does the staging process work?
One of us or our fabulous stagers will come out to the property to take photos and videos for our stage plan and bid. This is a great time for any of your concerns or questions. If we are doing a partial stage this is also where we ask you to store certain items or rearrange certain pieces of furniture and remove clutter. It is important that the homeowner does the homework, so when we come back to do the stage we can focus on making it beautiful.
We will email a bid with a price point, a rough stage plan for the home, and detail the homework which we talked about with the client. The estimate is based on a few things. Size of the house and rooms, wall space, and how many areas you would like us to stage. Also price point of the home will make a difference. This includes all the labor of setting up and cleaning out the stage and 6 weeks of rental.
Some homes need a little more time to sell and go under contract, so we do have the option of renting the stage on a weekly basis after the initital contract is up. The rate for this is 10% of the original bid per week.
Once it is decided you'd like to go ahead and do the staging we will set a date that works best for you. Typically we start the stages between 10-11am, and finish between 1-4pm depending on the size of the stage. This is our favorite part and when the magic happens.
We will then send out our invoice and ask for payment upon completion of the stage.
